<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely notify a user of an error state and enable the user to properly perform operation on an available function. <P>SOLUTION: In a system including one or a plurality of first devices for performing job processing and a second device for instructing job processing by using a job management screen, the second device comprises: a communication unit for acquiring information by repeatedly communicating with the first devices; a detection unit for detecting an error on the basis of the acquired information; a determination unit for comparing the error detected this time and an error detected just before to determine whether they are due to the same user operation on the job management screen; a first display unit for performing pop-up display of contents of the error detected this time on the job management screen when they are not due to the same user operation; and a second display unit for performing display of contents of the error detected this time other than the pop-up display when they are due to the same user operation and the pop-up display is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
