PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an opening/closing body for a vehicle, capable of detecting generation of short circuit when a wire connecting a drive circuit, an opening/closing motor, a power supply, and the like is short-circuited, and of suppressing malfunction of the opening/closing body.SOLUTION: A control device (200) for an opening/closing body for a vehicle, comprises: an input circuit (205) receiving a voltage signal indicating a drive voltage, among a power supply voltage applied to one end of an opening/closing motor (102c) of the opening/closing body for a vehicle, and a drive voltage applied to the other end; a short circuit state determination part (204) determining a short circuit state when the drive voltage is out of a predetermined range; and an output circuit (207) outputting a control signal for reducing a voltage applied to the opening/closing motor in a case where the short circuit state is determined. |
