PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode for fuel battery, which is able to prevent an active layer and a diffusion layer from peeling from each other and is able to improve the durability of a fuel battery single cell, and to provide a fuel battery single cell using the same.SOLUTION: An anode 10 for fuel battery is used for a fuel battery single cell 5 that has an anode 1, solid electrolyte layer 2, and cathode 3. The anode 10 for fuel battery comprises: an active layer 11 arranged on the solid electrolyte layer 2 side; and a diffusion layer 12 arranged in layers on the side of the active layer 11, which side is opposite to the solid electrolyte layer 2 side. The active layer 11 is composed of a mixture containing catalyst particles 111 in the active layer and solid electrolyte particles 112 in the active layer. The diffusion layer 12 is composed of a mixture containing catalyst particles 121 in the diffusion layer and solid electrolyte particles 122 in the diffusion layer. The interface 13 between the active layer 11 and diffusion layer 12 has bridging particles 131, some of which are present in the active layer 11 and the remainder of which are present in the diffusion layer 12. |
