The present invention relates to a surface treatment method for magnesium or magnesium alloy, comprising the steps of: treating magnesium or magnesium alloy with heat under the conditions of 85-100 RH% humidity at less than or equal to 100°C, and 50-100 RH% at more than or equal to 100°C in the temperature range of 75-160°C, and forming a brucite film on surfaces of the magnesium or the magnesium alloy; and depositing aluminum on surfaces of the magnesium or the magnesium alloy.
