TAIL GATE OPENING ANGLE CONTROL DEVICE USING CAMERA IMAGE, AND THE METHOD OF THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method to control an opening angle of a tail gate using an image of a camera comprising the steps of: obtaining the operation input of a tail gate of a vehicle from a user; turning on a rear camera in response to the obtained operation input of the tail gate; photographing the front side of the tail gate using the rear camera; transferring the photographed image to a control part; calculating the height of at least a person contained in the photographed image through the control part; determining the opening angle of the tail gate in response to the calculated height; and opening the tail gate in response to the determined opening angle. The present invention photographs the front image of the tail gate using the camera mounted on the vehicle, calculates the length of the person from the photographed image, and then determines the opening degree of the tail gate in response to the calculated height.
