PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress noise and vibration and keep a driver feeling good in a braking operation, even in the case of a rapid braking operation by the driver.SOLUTION: A vehicle braking force generation device 10 includes: a motor cylinder device 16 for performing variable operation of braking liquid pressure generated by the operation of an electric motor 72 based on braking operation by a driver; a determination part 223 for determining whether or not an own vehicle is in a stopped state; and a control part 233 for performing a control to reduce a first braking liquid pressure related to at least either an operating amount or an operating speed of the electric motor 72, generated in accordance with a first braking operation when it is determined by the determination part 223 that the own vehicle is in a stopped state, in comparison with a second braking liquid pressure related to at least either the operating amount or the operating speed, generated in accordance with a second braking operation common to the first braking operation when it is determined by the determination part 223 that the own vehicle is in a traveling state. |
