To provide a lubricating alloy which is useful as a material for sliding parts of various machinery and equipment such as rotor, shaft, mechanical sealing and so on by greatly improving lubrication characteristics, corrosion resistance, hardness, etc. of the lubricating alloy. The lubricating alloy has a composition comprising 70 to 75 wt.% of Ni, 8 to 14 wt.% of Cr, 3 to 7 wt.% of Bi, 3 to 6 wt.% of Sn, 1 to 4 wt.% of Mo, less than 2 wt.% of the sum of Fe and Si and 1 to 3 wt.% of Te, wherein the lubricating alloy is used in the cast state without heat treatment, wherein matrix structure of the alloy is constructed in a dendritic structure, and the alloy has a morphology in which fine Bi precipitates are uniformly distributed between the dendritic structures, wherein the alloy is constructed in a dendritic structure and has good lubrication characteristics, corrosion resistance and hardness by fine distribution of Bi precipitates, wherein when the alloy is contacted and rubbed against other metal, friction coefficient and abrasion ratio of the alloy are lowered, and stress breaking(galling phenomenon) is not exhibited on the friction surface since Bi precipitates are coated on the surface of the alloy such that the Bi precipitates function as a lubricant, and wherein the alloy is used as a material for sliding parts of machinery and equipment.
