PURPOSE: An LCD is provided to form a transparent conductor layer between a top substrate and one polarizer sheet or between a bottom substrate and the other polarizer sheet, thereby preventing the static electricity to be generated in the substrates. CONSTITUTION: An indium tin oxide(ITO) layer(31) for preventing the static electricity is formed in the upper of a top substrate(30). The ITO layer(31) is coated on the entire surface of the top substrate(30) or the surface which light transmits in a bottom substrate(20) is opened to maximize the transmittance of the light. The second polarizer sheet(32) for polarizing the light in the fixed direction is formed in the upper of the ITO layer(31). The transparent conductor layer(31) for performing the role of a floated ground weakens the static electricity to be generated in the top substrate(30). Or, a transparent conductor layer(31-1) is intervened between the bottom substrate(20) and the first polarizer sheet(21).
