PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which allows a reading device to use an image other than cells in an information code.SOLUTION: An information code 100 to be generated by an information code generation device 2 includes a specific pattern area, a data storage area, an error correction code storage area, and an image area 121 with an image different from an image of cells. An information code reading device 10 includes an image processing unit which performs image recognition processing on an image of the image area in a captured image (code image) of the information code 100, in a method different from data decryption processing of a data storage area reading unit.
