The invention relates to a continuous casting mould (1) with a temperature sensor (7). The intention of the invention is to provide a continuous casting mould (1) that has an optical waveguide (8) as a temperature sensor (7) in which the optical waveguide responds rapidly to temperature changes of the mould (1) and the optical waveguide (8) is well protected from mechanical damage. This object is achieved by a continuous casting mould (1) with - a copper plate (13), which has on the cold side (2) a groove (4) with a groove base (4a); - a first heat-conducting foil (5), which rests on the groove base (4a); - a second heat-conducting foil (6), which at least partially rests on the first heat-conducting foil (5); - an optical waveguide (8) as a temperature sensor (7), which runs in a small tube (12), wherein the small tube (12) is embedded between the first heat-conducting foil (5) and the second heat-conducting foil (6); and - a filling material (9), which closes off at least certain portions of the groove (4).
