PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a printing method by which a raw material can be manufactured in a state of maintaining a prescribed positional relation between printing applied to an adhesive sheet and printing applied to a release sheet.SOLUTION: The printer 1 includes: a feed-out means 2 for feeding-out the raw material R constituted of a band-like adhesive sheet S temporarily adhered on one surface of a band-like release sheet RL; a bypassing means 3 for temporarily releasing the release sheet RL from the adhesive sheet S of the raw material R and bypassing it; a printing means 4 for printing on at least one surface of an adhesive agent layer AD of the exposed adhesive sheet S, one surface of the release sheet RL bypassed from the adhesive sheet S, and the other surface of the release sheet RL; a temporary readhering means 7 for temporarily readhering the adhesive sheet S to the release sheet RL which has been bypassed by the bypassing means 3; and a positioning means 8 for adjusting the positional relation of the release sheet RL and the adhesive sheet S during the readhering by the temporary readhering means 7 to the prescribed positional relation. |
