PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device excellent in convenience.SOLUTION: A steering lock device comprises an emergency release lever 26 which rotates a motor and displaces a lock bar from a lock position to an unlock position by being pulled. The emergency release lever 26 has a projection part. The steering lock device comprises a rotary shaft 27 as a regulation member for regulating displacement of the emergency release lever 26 by being engaged with the projection part. The emergency release lever 26 is regulated so that, when the lever is going to displace between first and second positions for displacing the lock bar 24 from the lock position to the unlock position, when force equal to or more than limitation torque set to a value equal to or less than reference torque which the motor exhibits in a normal time is applied, the projection part gets over the rotary shaft 27, and when the force less than the reference torque is applied, the projection part is regulated by the rotary shaft 27. |
