PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label sticking device capable of adjusting the tip of an adhesive label to a reference position without peeling the adhesive label from release paper when such circumstances that the tip of the adhesive label which is temporarily adhered to the release paper passes through a predetermined reference position occur, without reversely rotating a release paper feeding mechanism.SOLUTION: A label sticking device 1 includes: a movable member 31 which is movable between a bending position for bending release paper 3 thereon and a bending relaxation position for relaxing a bent state of the release paper 3 thereon; a pushing roller 43 which can come into contact with a surface of a side opposite to an adhesive side of the adhesive label; and a label tip detection mechanism 54 for detecting the tip of the adhesive label peeled from the release paper 3. Therein, the label tip detection mechanism 54 is provided with a light emission element and a light receiving element which are arranged so as to hold the tip side of the adhesive label peeled from the release paper 3. On the pushing roller 43, a groove part through which light proceeding from the light emission element to the light receiving element passes is formed so as to be depressed to the inner side in the radial direction. |
