PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a gusset between a cross member and a pillar, and to avoid the lowering of load transmission efficiency at a vehicle side-face collision by the fixed structure in an assembling line of a factory.SOLUTION: A clearance T necessary for setting a gusset 40 between a cross member 30 and a pillar 20 is formed between the gusset 40 and the cross member 30, load transmission faces 45p, 34p which oppose each other via the clearance T are formed at the gusset 40 and the cross member 30, respectively, the gusset 40 is connected to the pillar 20 and the cross member 30 by utilizing a connecting mechanism which is composed of a connecting member B and a member N to be connected, and furthermore, the connecting mechanisms B, N for connecting the gusset 40 and the cross member 30 connect both the gusset 40 and the cross member 30 in a state that the relative movement of the gusset 40 and the cross member 30 in a vehicle width direction is permitted by at least an amount of a dimension of the clearance T. |
