FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to reflecting encoders, as well as mechanisms containing the above said encoders. A reflecting encoder includes a rotating disc that is installed so that it can be rotated about a rotating centre of a shaft and on which in a circumferential direction there formed is an increment pattern and a periodic absolute pattern; and a panel that is installed opposite a rotating disc and includes a light source that emits light in the direction towards the rotating disc, a group of increment light receivers, which includes many increment light receivers to receive the light reflected from the increment pattern and a group of absolute light receivers, which includes many absolute light receivers to receive the light reflected from the periodic absolute pattern. With that, the group of increment light receivers includes a lot of sets of increment light receivers; with that, each of the sets includes increment light receivers that receive optic signals having phases that are different from each other and are installed on a panel in a circumferential direction of the rotating disc; with that, a light source is located between them and a group of absolute light receivers is divided and installed on the panel at least on the outer side or inner side of the light source in a radial direction of the rotating disc. Besides, a servo motor and a servo assembly, which contain such an encoder, are described.EFFECT: invention is aimed at effective use of reflected light due to increasing the light reception surface area.10 cl, 12 dwg |
