PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for metal processing capable of achieving improvement of processing efficiency and improvement of tool life and environmentally friendly without containing chlorine.SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricant composition for metal processing containing a lubricant base oil, (A) dialkyl polysulfide having 50 mol% or more of the one having the number of crosslinks of sulphur of 4 or more and (B) a metal-based cleaner having a metal ratio of 6 or more.
