<p>An optical waveguide end piece (1) has a hollow-cylindrical centring sleeve (2), which is fixed in a sleeve mount (3) and in which an optical waveguide (4) is held between an entrance end side (5) and an exit end side (6). A plastically deformable holding piece (7) is inserted in the region of the exit end side, in which holding piece the optical waveguide is fixed and positioned in a hole (8) in such a way that the optical axis of said optical waveguide is aligned with the centre axis of the centring sleeve. Between the holding piece (7) and the entrance end side (5), an optical coding (10), in particular a fibre Bragg grating, is integrated into the optical waveguide. Said coding enables an unambiguous addressing of the optical waveguide end piece, wherein the arrangement thereof within said end piece affords considerable advantages.</p> |
