<p>The present invention is related to a path clustering algorithm in a layered ad hoc network. The path clustering algorithm in the ad hoc network which includes a source node which transmits data, a target node which receives the data transmitted by the source node, and a plurality of relay nodes located between the source node and the target node with constant intervals, the source node: selects one relay node using the distance from the relay nodes to the source node and an angle formed by the source node and the target node with the relay nodes; and transmits the data transmitted from the source node to the target node through the selected relay node. Thus, energy efficiency is higher than a network based on a reach technology by which data is transmitted directly from the source node to the target node, thereby lengthening the network life.</p> |
