1. A method of operating a wagering game machine primarily dedicated to playing at least one casino wagering game, the method comprising:
establishing a wireless connection between the wagering game machine and a mobile device of a player; retrieving game preferences of the player from one of the mobile device and an account server, the game preferences indicating first elements of the casino wagering game to present on the wagering game machine and second elements of the casino wagering game to present on the mobile device; in accordance with the retrieved game preferences, configuring, by a controller, the casino wagering game to present the first elements of the casino wagering game on the wagering game machine and the second elements of the casino wagering game on the mobile device, the second elements including at least one game input button; configuring, by the controller, the casino wagering game to accept input from the mobile device; receiving, at the wagering game machine from the mobile device, a command to initiate the casino wagering game; and presenting, on a display device of the wagering game machine, the first elements of the casino wagering game.
