<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that allows meeting a high step-up capability and a harmonic standard while achieving high efficiency over the entire operating region of a load.SOLUTION: A power conversion device includes: a rectifier circuit 3; a short-circuit section 30 short-circuiting an AC power supply 1 via a reactor 2 connected between the AC power supply 1 and the rectifier circuit 3; and a control section 20 generating a switching pulse that controls the short-circuit section 30 so that a current detection value detected in a period shorter than the half cycle of the AC power supply 1 falls within the range from the upper-limit threshold to the lower-limit threshold and outputting the switching pulse as a driving signal Sa1.</p> |
