<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric that is excellent in wiping-off performance so that high collection efficiency is attained even when a capture object is viscose.SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric comprises a cellulosic staple fiber and an acrylic staple fiber having a modified cross-section as constituent fibers, and the constituent fibers are three-dimensionally and integrally entangled with each other. The acrylic staple fiber has a cross section of a rectangular shape. At specific positions in a long axis direction of the rectangular shape, the acrylic staple fiber has arc-shaped projecting portions projecting to a short axis direction respectively. The height of each of the projecting portions is in the range of 0.5-1.5 times of the length of the short axis. The ratio of the short axis to the long axis of the rectangular shape is in the range of 1:10-1:15.</p> |
