PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration device capable of improving energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A cogeneration device 1 generates electric power with a power generator 21 connected to an engine 2, and has a power supply circuit 3 for supplying the generated power to other components, and a hot water storage circuit 4 for recovering the waste heat of the engine and preparing the hot water. A heat pump 5 driven by the electric power generated by the power generator 21 is connected to the power supply circuit 3. A control section 6 of the heat pump 5 comprises a heat demand following control section 6a for detecting a heat pump request heat output Qhpo from the difference between a total amount of heat demand Qd and an amount of engine waste heat generation Qwho, and the heat demand following control section 6a determines an operation condition so that an amount of heat pump heat generation Qcoph is equal to the heat pump request heat output Qhpo and performs operation of the heat pump 5 when the heat pump request heat output Qhpo is detected. |
