<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, an adaptive cruise control apparatus comprises: a communication device receiving driving information of an adjacent vehicle including information about a speed and a steering angle of the adjacent vehicle; a location detection module identifying a current location; a speed detection module identifying the speed of a vehicle; a position detection module identifying a progress direction of a vehicle; and a controller drawing driving information of a relevant vehicle from the information acquired by the location detection module, the speed detection module, and the position detection module, estimating a change in the distance between the two vehicles based on the driving information of the relevant vehicle and the driving information of the adjacent vehicle.</p> |
