PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more reliable detection of a through crack.SOLUTION: A head includes a flow passage unit 12 and an actuator unit 17. The actuator unit 17 includes piezoelectric layers 17a-17c and a plurality of individual electrodes 18a formed on a surface 17a1 of the piezoelectric layers 17a-17c. The surface 17a1 includes a region in which the individual electrodes 18a are formed, a first region R1 and a second region R2 adjacent ot the first region R1. The second region R2 extends from outer edges of the individual electrodes 18a to a portion that is not opposite to a pressure chamber 16 which is opposite to the individual electrodes 18a in a planar view around at least one of the plurality of individual electrodes 18a. The second region R2, in which an island electrode 18i is formed, is constituted with irregularities and has higher wettability to liquid than the first region R1. |
