<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a construction method for thermal insulation of a tank suffers from a cost increase due to 1) a deterioration in adiabatic performance by rain water intrusion, 2) corrosion of a tank wall surface by rain water intrusion, and 3) a process for welding and fixing a support metal fitting for fixing a jacket material or thermal insulation stopper ring.SOLUTION: The adiabatic panel, bonded by arrangement on a tank wall surface and shaped in a near rectangle, comprises a tabular jacket material stuck on a flexible heat insulator and keeps a part where the flexible heat insulator is exposed out of the tabular jacket material formed at least at a point of the upper edge, left edge, and right edge. The tabular jacket material projects from the flexible heat insulator at the lower edge, and the projected part bends in an N shape toward the flexible heat insulator to form a seam hook part. The adiabatic panel is manufactured so that the tip of the seam hook part can be inserted into a gap between the flexible heat insulator and the tabular jacket material of the adiabatic panel adjacent to the tip underside.</p> |
