<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for actively selecting photoelectric converters to read a signal from among plural photoelectric converters provided in a pixel, thereby acquiring a signal suitable to a use and shortening a time to read.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging device which comprises plural pixels each having plural photoelectric converters for receiving light from an optical system and converting it to an electric signal; selection means which selects a pair of photoelectric converters on the basis of the setting value of the optical system, from among the plural photoelectric converters arranged in each of the pixels; and reading means which reads an electric signal from the selected photoelectric converters.</p> |
