A method for creating a color LUT from at least a first picture and a second picture is disclosed. The color LUT is defined as a grid of vertices dividing a color space into regions. The method comprises obtaining, for each region Ri, the color value of each of its vertices from pixels of the first picture whose color value belong to the region Ri and from spatially corresponding pixels in the second picture.
