Provided is a towel product having a non-twisted yarn pile that is easy to sew, in which skin-touch feel, lightness of weight, and air permeability are improved. For the yarn pile, non-twisted yarn having a fine count (40-90 count) compared with the prior art is used. In this manner, skin-touch feel, lightness of weight, and air permeability are improved, and volume feeling can be suppressed. Meanwhile, heat retention can be maintained. As a result, the towel cloth having a non-twisted yarn pile is applicable to clothing. Furthermore, the non-twisted yarn is formed by twisting cotton having a longer than normal effective fiber length (34-42 mm), and untwisting is adjusted within a prescribed range (-10 to 10%). In this manner, loss of fluff can be suppressed, and quality can be stabilized. |
