<p>When noises of images are removed by a non-local means based noise removal algorithm, edges in an image can be preserved and noise removal ability can be improved, by a method in which a kernel which gives weights in determination of similarity between patches decreases, based on a reference patch, noises of an image adaptively changing and a recording media for storing the resultant image, and an image processing apparatus using the method.</p> |
