<p>An item of tableware such as a bowl or plate is provided with indicia B, and comprises integral selection means A bearing corresponding indicia for randomly selecting the indicia provided on the bowl/plate. The bowl/plate indicia B may be located such that they are covered when food is placed on or in the bowl/plate, and are revealed when the food is eaten. The selector A preferably comprises a rotatable element bearing the corresponding indicia, and is preferably provided at or towards the periphery or lip C of the bowl/plate. The indicia may relate to a game or story, with the intention that the game or story is used as an incentive or reward for a child eating food from the bowl/plate, e.g. by encouraging a child to eat food from a part of the plate indicated by the selector. In an embodiment the tableware is a cup or mug (see figures 3i and 3ii).</p> |
