A halved outer ring 11a included in a roller bearing, and having a substantially semicylindrical shape, comprising protruding 17a and recessed 17b shapes provided in abutting portions where a pair of said halved outer rings 11a, 11b abut on each other when incorporated in said roller bearing, and configured to mesh with each other to restrict axial movement of said halved outer rings, and when said abutting portion is viewed from an outer diameter side, said protruding shape 17a is formed by a first line 18a extending straight in a circumferential direction, and a second line 18b extending from an outer circumferential end of said first line 18a to one axial end 13a of said halved outer ring, and said recessed shape 17b is formed by said first line 18a and a third line 18c extending from an inner circumferential end of said first line 18a to the other axial end 13b of said halved outer ring 11a. |
