<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge circuit for a capacitor allowing suppression of an increase in the physical size. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion system includes: a high-voltage battery 16; an inverter 12 that has a pair of input terminals and is connected to the high-voltage battery 16 via the pair of input terminals; a capacitor 20 that is connected between the pair of input terminals; and a discharge circuit 22. A series connection body composed of a photodiode 26a and a discharge resistor body 24 of the discharge circuit 22 is connected between the pair of input terminals of the inverter 12. Further, one end of the phototransistor 26b is connected to a power supply 30 via a resistor body 28 and the other end is connected to the ground. Moreover, the resistance value of the discharge resistor body 24 is set so that the phototransistor 26b is turned on when the discharge resistor body 24 is normal. In this configuration, the presence or absence of abnormality (open failure) of the discharge resistor body 24 is determined on the basis of a voltage between the resistor body 28 and the phototransistor 26b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
