Disclosed are a loop-type zebra shade (1) able to compensate for height and a method of compensating for height thereof. The loop-type zebra shade (1) comprises an upper rod (10), a lower rod (20) and loop-type shade fabric (30), wherein the loop-type shade fabric (30) corresponds to a pre-set shading area (4a) of a window (4) for shading, comprises a zebra shade part (31) composed of multiple zebra shade units (40) and a compensation part (32) used for compensating for height, and the combination forms a loop wound perpendicularly between the upper rod (10) and the lower rod (20) to form a piece of front shade fabric (30a) and a piece of rear shade fabric (30b) of the same height and facing each other front and back; each zebra shade unit (40) is formed of adjacent see-through sections (41) and non-see-through sections (42); the net length of the compensation part (32) is pre-set by means of calculation such that the total length of the loop-type shade fabric (30) formed by the combination is the sum of the total length of the zebra shade part (31) and the net length of at least one compensation part (32), making the height of the piece of front shade fabric (30a) and the piece of rear shade fabric (30b) after height compensation able to approximately equal half the total length of the loop-type shade fabric (30) and able to correspondingly match a pre-set height of the pre-set shading area (4a) of the window (4). |
