<p>This invention relates to detection in urine of bladder cancer through the detection of urinary bladder tumour markers (UBTMs). The disclosed UBTMs include BIRC2, CDC2, HOXA13, IGFBP5, MDK, MGP, NOV, NRP1, SEMA3F, SMC4L1, SPAG5, TOP2A and UBE2C. The invention also relates to use of the said UBTMs for typing and staging of bladder cancer wherein the markers are detected as oligonucleotide, protein, and/or antibody markers in the urine.</p> |
