An objective of the present invention is to provide a plastic image fiber with little transmission loss. Provided is a plastic image fiber formed from n cores (where in is an integer greater than 1) which are disposed within cladding. The cores have an index of refraction that changes continuously at the peripheral parts of the cores, the index of refraction at the peripheral parts on the center side of the cores being greater than the index of refraction at the peripheral parts on the cladding side of the cores. |
