PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell image evaluation apparatus which can evaluate the condition of a cell colony properly according to the morphological changes accompanying growth in the cell colony, and to provide a method and program thereof.SOLUTION: A cell image acquisition part 30 which acquires the cell image obtained by photographing the cell, a cell evaluation part 31 which evaluates the cell image, and a maturity index information acquisition part 33 which acquires information related to the maturity index of the cell are comprised. The cell evaluation part 31 determines the evaluation method of the cell image on the basis of information related to the maturity index.
