MOBILE BARCODE GENERATION AND PAYMENT

An application on user's mobile device (having a display screen) generates a transaction-specific barcode on the display, where the barcode contains a plurality of funding sources for the transaction and/or merchant loyalty, reward, or membership numbers. The barcode can be scanned to make purchases at a point of sale (POS).

a storage component for storing account information for a plurality of users, wherein the account information comprises a user identifier and user funding sources for use in a transaction; a communication component for receiving information indicating a plurality of funding sources for use in a transaction; and a processing component for:
authenticating the received information;automatically determining at least two funding sources from the plurality of funding sources that can be used in the transaction; andprocessing payment for the transaction by debiting each of the at least two funding sources.
