摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte ejection prevention material for a secondary battery which efficiently absorbs steam of electrolyte ejected from a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in a small space at low costs. <P>SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery E includes a positive electrode terminal 1 and a negative electrode terminal 2, a battery case 3, and an explosion-proof valve 4 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the battery case 3 and houses an electrode body 10 inside the battery case 3. The electrode body 10 has a positive current collector 11 and a positive electrode plate 12, and a negative current collector 13 and a negative electrode plate 14. The positive electrode plate 12 and the negative electrode plate 14 are wound via a separator 15 respectively. In adjacency to the explosion-proof valve 4, a cartridge case is provided to house an electrolyte ejection prevention material inside.
