PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection cover for an electric wire which improves the workability in attachment to the electric wire and reduces man hours in the manufacturing.SOLUTION: A connection member 30 which connects cover members 10, 20 for protecting an electric wire 5 is provided separately from the cover members 10, 20 and comprises: a cylindrical part 31 forming a cutout part 34 for ribs, into which cover rib parts 12, 22 of the cover members 10, 20 are inserted; and engagement parts 32, 33 provided at the radial outer side of the cylindrical part 31 and forming through holes 328, 329, 338, 339 into which ring shaped members 40 may be inserted. When the ring shaped members 40 which rotate in a circumferential direction are inserted into through holes 123, 224 respectively formed at the cover rib parts 12, 22 and the through holes 328, 329, 338, 339 of the engagement parts 32, 33, the cover members 10, 20 are restricted from moving relative to the connection member 30 in the axial direction. The structure improves the workability in attachment of a protection cover 1 for an electric wire to the electric wire 5 installed at a high location. |
