PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical glass that has a high visible light transmittance while having a refractive index and an Abbe number within a desired range.SOLUTION: An optical glass contains, by mass%, a SiOcomponent of 1.0-20.0%, BOcomponent of 1.0-30.0%, a LaOcomponent of 35.0-65.0%, a NbOcomponent of 4.0-30.0%, a ZnO component of 0.1-20.0%, a WOcomponent of 0.5-20.0%, the content of the TiOcomponent of 0-15.0%, a refractive index of 1.90 or more, and a wavelength showing 70% of transmittance with a thickness of 10 mm of 440 nm or less.
