PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backrest that is portable and that has a spine correction function.SOLUTION: The backrest is manufactured by integral molding using a plasticized material, and is provided with a back support plate 40 including an upper part 41 and a lower part 42 from top to bottom along the vertical direction. A circular measure inside the vertical cross section in the center along the vertical direction of the upper part 41 coincides with the circular measure of the thoracic spine of a human body, showing a curve that matches the thoracic kyphosis. A circular measure inside the vertical cross section in the center along the vertical direction of the lower part 42 coincides with the circular measure of the lumbar spine of a human body, showing a curve that matches the lumbar lordosis. The joining part of the upper part 41 and the lower part 42 is extended to both left and right sides of the joint part adjacent to the bottom end of the thoracic spine and the apex of the lumbar spine in the back of the human body. As the backrest 30 has a simple structure and occupies no space, when a user sets the backrest 30 on the backrest part of a chair to sit on the chair, a sufficient space is secured. Also, the back support plate 40 accurately and fully supports the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine of the user from top to bottom, materializing the purpose of making a fine adjustment of the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine to the accurate position. |
