Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of assessing forest inventory. The computer-implemented method includes generating, using one or more computers, a forest inventory for a geographical area of land. The one or more computers generates the forest inventory based at least in part on computer analysis of data extracted from radar imagery of the land, data extracted from spectral imagery of the land and actual tree survey data physically collected using one or more ground-based measures. The method also includes storing the generated forest inventory in a memory. |
