<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening building material with which a shutter body can be prevented from being dropped even if a fire occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An opening building material comprises a vertical frame 3, a vertical frame reinforcing material 25 and a shutter body 6. The vertical frame reinforcing material 25 includes a skeleton fixing part 27 which is fixed to a skeleton 11, a shutter body fixing part 30 for fixing the shutter body 6, and tying parts 28, 29 which tie the skeleton fixing part 27 and the shutter body fixing part 30.
