PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit that allows reducing current consumption.SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit 100 includes: an inverted amplifier 1A having an input connected to a first terminal T1 and an output connected to a second terminal T2, generating an oscillation signal OSC, and having a gain changing according to a gain control signal GS; a waveform formation circuit X forming the waveform of the oscillation signal and outputting a clock signal to a clock output terminal TCLK; an edge detection circuit DE detecting an edge of the clock signal CLK and outputting the gain control signal at the timing of the edge.
