Provided is a light emitting device capable of correcting the variation of brightness between pixels due to electrical properties such as mobility and the threshold voltage of driving transistor in a period of displaying an image. The device includes a pixel, a first circuit which generates a signal which includes information as a value of current extracted from the pixel, and a second circuit which corrects an image signal according to the signal. The pixel includes a light emitting device, a transistor which has a value of drain current defined according to the image signal, a first switch which controls the supply of the drain current to the light emitting device, and a second switch which controls the extraction of the drain current from the pixel and controls the supply of the drain current to the light emitting device. |
