<p>Provided is a coating agent for forming a transparent coating film, which forms a low-refractive index transparent coating film having excellent adhesion to a substrate, strength, water repellent property and whitening resistance. The coating agent for forming a transparent coating film comprises low-refractive index particles, a matrix-forming component, a polymerization initiator and a solvent. The low-refractive index particles are treated with a silane coupling agent, the surface-treated low-refractive index particles have a refractive index of 1.20-1.45, and the low-refractive index particles are used in an amount of 0.1-10 wt% on the solid content basis. The matrix-forming component includes a silicone resin and/or an acrylic resin, and is used in an amount of 0.5-20 wt% on the solid content basis.</p> |
