PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product-sum operation circuit capable of calculating products between matrices of various sizes with a small circuit area.SOLUTION: A product-sum operation circuit is a product-sum operation circuit that outputs a third matrix by calculating a product between a first matrix and a second matrix. The product-sum operation circuit includes: a plurality of multipliers (301 to 308); a plurality of first adders (309 to 312) each adding up two out of multiplication results of the plurality of multipliers (301 to 308); a plurality of second adders (313 and 314) each adding up two out of addition results of the plurality of first adders (309 to 312); an input selector (300) outputting elements of the first matrix and elements of the second matrix to input terminals of the plurality of multipliers (301 to 308) according to numbers of rows and columns of the first matrix and the second matrix; and an output selector (316) selecting one of the addition results of the plurality of first adders (309 to 312) or addition results of the plurality of second adders (313 to 314) according to numbers of rows and columns of the first matrix and the second matrix, and outputting the selected addition result as the third matrix. |
