PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode assembly for use in a resectoscope.SOLUTION: An electrode assembly 17 is provided with an elongated shaft 33, at least one arm 33, first connection means for connecting the arm to an electrosurgical energy source, and a tissue treatment element 26 at an end par of the arm. The arm includes a sucking lumen 34 extended from a proximal end to a distal end. The distal end of the sucking lumen 34 is terminated in a whole area of the tissue treatment element 26. The proximal end of the sucking lumen includes second connection means for connecting the sucking lumen to a suction force source. |
