PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image reproducing device that can slowly and smoothly reproduce a moving image including scene changes.SOLUTION: A moving image reproducing device comprises moving image input means for inputting a moving image composed of a plurality of consecutive input frames; interpolation image creation means for creating an interpolation frame corresponding to a time between two input frames, using the two input frames adjacent to each other among the plurality of input frames; and moving image reproduction means for detecting a scene change in the moving image, and outputting the plurality of input frames or the interpolation frame in time sequence on the basis of the detection result, to reproduce the moving image at an arbitrary reproduction speed. The moving image reproduction means skips a display of an interpolation frame corresponding to a time between a last input frame of a first scene and a first input frame of a second scene when detecting the scene change, and displays an input frame of the second scene or the interpolation frame after the last input frame of the first scene or the interpolation frame. |
