<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot arm that can surely transmit heat, for example, generated from a motor, caused by motor operation to the base part side of the robot arm, and to provide a robot.SOLUTION: A robot arm 3 includes a plurality of arm parts including an arm part 35, linked so as to turn relative to one another. The arm part 35 comprises: a tubular cover 5; a motor 6 and a motor frame 4 included in the motor 6; a decelerator 13 that decelerates rotation from the motor 6 to output a torque output; an encoder 12 that detects a rotation angle of the motor 6; and filament bodies 7a, 7ab including at least one of wiring and piping. A wall thickness of the motor frame 4 increases as the wall separates from the decelerator 13 and the wall approaches the encoder 12.</p> |
